Prayer is always regarded as the ‘engine room’ of the church. Without prayer our efforts are futile. We need God to direct and guide us, we need to make space for Him to speak to us, we need to be conscientious and disciplined in bringing our needs to God and, importantly, we need to develop a closeness with Him that only prayer can give.
Prayer at House of the Rock Church is given very high priority – we have three Prayer Meetings per week at different times, making attendance at a prayer group easily accessible to each member of our Church body. We also prioritise urgent prayers through a prayer chain.
