Welcome to House of the Rock Church.
Our congregation is not just another interest group, like a sport or hobby club or a political party. Instead, like other Christian congregations, we are more like a family. We are God’s family, and when we get together it is like a family gathering.
You will notice that our family is made up of many different kinds of people – people of all ages, with different levels of education, in different areas of work, with different personalities, from different backgrounds and cultures, with different interests and abilities – but all of them are joined together as members of the same family, God’s family.
What can you expect to find here in our family? Friendly people, acceptance, kindness? We hope you do. But more than that, we hope that here you will find Jesus Christ, who is our Lord and our Saviour. He is the one who gathers us together as a family, and it’s because of him that we meet here. Long ago Jesus said: “Where two or three come together in my name, I am there with them” (Matthew 18:20) We believe that Jesus is with us here as we meet together.
We hope that by being with us in our family you will also meet Jesus and will come to know him as your rescuer and the one who cares for you.
